Artisan Ankle+ Splint

Therapy and Immobilisation

Indications

• Immobilisation of the ankle following trauma or surgery, including Achilles Tendon lesions.
• Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
• This is a resting splint only - standing or walking are prohibited.

Application

• The splint comes pre-shaped with the ankle joint at 90°
• If a different joint angle is required, detach the two 'L' shaped fixation plates and re-attach in the required position.
• Place the lower leg and plantar side of the foot into the splint.
• Shape the splint around the lower leg and foot.
• Fasten the straps across the lower leg and foot.
