Recommendations

The child should have about 6 ins (15 cm) of length from the beginning of the underarm to the wrist. To ensure a secure fit and performance, we recommend 0.5 ins (1.25 cm) as the minimum amount of overlap on the wrap-around portion.

Notes

In infants and young toddlers with lower muscle tone/weakness, (i.e. Down syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome) the XS-Infant/Toddler brace can be worn in children as old as 18-20 months. However, if your child has significant spasticity (i.e. cerebral palsy) and is on the older end of the suggested age range, consider the S-Early Intervention brace.
